We have partnered with Daily Fun Spot, a family fun center with bounce houses, laser tag and arcade games in Tullahoma, to offer an art project to children in our community.
We are asking parents to help their children create a drawing/painting themed Holiday Happiness, and post a photo of the art piece in the comments on our Facebook page or email the photo to elena@coffeecountycac.org before Sunday, Nov. 14.
We will have a contest on Facebook and you can vote for your favorite art piece. The winner will win a gift certificate for Daily Fun Spot (five free one-day passes and pizza, $75 value).
The Coffee County Children's Advocacy Center will create a holiday card with the winning art piece.
Art activities are incredibly beneficial to children. They give children a sense of achievement and allow them to take pride in their work which builds confidence. Activities involving children and parents build strong relationships. Maintaining trusting relationships between children and parents is extremely important when it comes to keeping children safe.
